Lost Floppy Disks

Over the course of the semester, the Library has collected a large number of floppy disks that were left behind by our patrons. Library Services will hold these disks until the 22nd of December. Following that date, the remaining disks will be reformatted (erasing all data) and loaned to students.

Library Book Tree 2005

As the semester winds down and the inevitable semester break approaches, the Library Services staff has created the Library Book Tree. Along with traditional festive season bows and garland, the staff has decorated the tree with their favourite book titles.

Come to the Library, browse the tree, and consider an interesting title or two for your reading pleasure.

Drop-in Computers Stations Rearranged

The Drop-in computer stations for the public and students have been rearranged. The stations are now in numeric order (based on each terminal's network log-in). The cable clutter associated with the last move has also been cleared up. We will continue to experiment with better arrangements of the stations.

The number of Drop-in computers remains the same – constituting 20 of the Library's 71 computers.
